This page is your starting point for the complete SRMB Realfabrica hollow section range. Whether you're searching for a square tube, a rectangular tube, a round pipe, an ERW pipe, or simply an MS hollow section for an upcoming project, you'll find every shape we manufacture here, along with the size range, thickness, applicable IS code, and typical use case for each one.
We manufacture three families of mild steel structural hollow sections, square hollow section (SHS), rectangular hollow section (RHS), and circular hollow section (CHS), all rolled in house from our own hot rolled coil at SRMB Srijan's integrated steel plant in Durgapur, West Bengal. If you already know which shape you need, jump straight to its dedicated product page for full size charts and technical detail. If you're still deciding, the comparison below will help you choose.
Our Full Product Range
We manufacture three families of mild steel structural hollow sections - SHS, RHS, and CHS. All Cold Formed ERW from HR coil meeting IS 10748 chemistry requirements. If you already know which shape you need, jump to its dedicated page. If you are still deciding, the comparison table below will help.

Square Hollow Section (SHS)
Symmetrical load distribution for columns, frames & general fabrication
The symmetrical profile of an SHS spreads structural load evenly in every direction, making it a dependable choice for load-bearing columns, structural framing, general fabrication, and gate or grill work. It is one of the more efficient shapes per kilogram of steel, since its equal-sided geometry gives a strong radius of gyration relative to its weight.

Rectangular Hollow Section (RHS)
Extra bending resistance along the longer axis for beams & trusses
The elongated cross-section is built for structural applications that need extra resistance along one axis, exactly what a beam, roof truss, or purlin requires. Because an RHS handles unequal loading more efficiently than an SHS of similar weight, it is often the more economical choice wherever load is not symmetrical.

Circular Hollow Section (CHS)
Best torsional resistance for railings, pipe racks & mechanical fabrication
Of the three shapes we manufacture, a CHS handles torsional and rotational load the best, since stress is distributed evenly around its circular cross-section rather than concentrated at corners. That is why it is the shape most often specified for railings, staircases, handrails, pipe racks, and general mechanical or engineering fabrication.
PAWS Technology
Every product we manufacture goes through PAWS Technology — our internal quality discipline applied consistently across the square, rectangular, and circular range. Every batch is checked on a Digital Universal Testing Machine and Spectrometer before dispatch.

Consistent mechanical properties maintained across every length of every batch, not just sample pieces.

Dimensions and cut lengths held precisely to what was ordered, verified with calibrated instruments.

Clean, consistent longitudinal ERW welding with no visible defects across every section produced.

Smooth, clean black finish with dependable mechanical strength verified by Digital UTM and Spectrometer.
